At Frigrite we recognise our obligation to the community to observe the highest standards of responsibility in what is an extremely environmentally sensitive industry. The company’s active participation in environmental issues occurs at three levels - regulatory, industry and company.
We have a company commitment to introduce improvements in both our products and services to minimise adverse environmental impacts.
An example of this commitment has been the design of refrigeration equipment which uses CO2 in a Cascade Refrigeration System. This system dramatically reduces the effects of greenhouse gas emissions whilst also providing substantial energy savings. A number of supermarkets around Australia are already successfully operating our CO2 system.
